Aeson is built in 1963 at the wharf of D. van der Wal, Wartena. She is somewhat enlarged, according to the specifications. She is 10.80 meter long and has a beam of 3.07 meter. The length overall is about 13 meter. The draught is about 1.75 meter, and the airdraft 12.80 meter. The stainless steel watertanks are holding more as 400 liter, the dieseltank is holding 90 liter.

She is made of steel, and the weight is ca 8 tons. She has a front cabin with a twin V-berth, and a saloon with a twin berth (if you remove the table) and a single one. The headroom is between 1.80 meter (front cabin) and 2.0 meter (saloon). She has a large cockpit with a sprayhood and shelter. Her ketch rigging is easy to handle, with a genua roller. There is an electric anchor winch too.  The new 42 hp Vetus diesel will assist you if necessary.

On shore or on trip you will like the hot- and cold watersystem (Vetus 40 Liter boiler), the electric toilet, the Somy heating and the brandnew Origo stove. While you are sitting on the new cushions you can take a drink out of the new coolbox and after a lovely day you can sleep well on new mattresses.

Aeson isn't very fast, but steady. With a mainsail of 18m2, a furling sail of 27 m2 and a mizzen of 7.5 m2 she's still going strong.
